Workplace Visits
The Occupational Health Service provides advice on the health aspects of departmental risk assessments.
The Occupational Health Service also provide specialist advice following a new diagnosis regarding work placement and/or task design to adapt the work for the individual, after illness, injury or surgery, or when the individual has a condition likely to be regarded as a disability under the Disability Discrimination Act 2005.
Employees may require referral for Access to Work to perform a comprehensive functional capacity evaluation of the employee. A detailed report of findings is provided to appropriate persons with the employee's consent with recommendations on adaptations/equipment required.
